Student Perspectives: post-performance Discussions
Instead of leaving your fieldtrip at the theater door, take the time to hear what your students noticed about their Ordway experience. Using the Artful Tools Protocols, Ordway staff and peer coaches using the Artist to Artist collaborative inquiry model, will lead students through a thoughtful discussion on students’ observations, reactions, and unanswered questions. Attending teachers will learn how to translate the discussion questions to work in the classroom and will gain a rich set of student responses that can be used for follow up at school. Students Perspectives take place in Ordway’s rehearsal studios immediately following the performance. Participation is free and space is limited; prior reservation is required. Student Perspectives are limited to 50 students or less. Please check the box on your order form or call 651-282-3115 for arrangements.
Perspectives are scheduled for the following dates and times:
JAKE SHIMABUKURO. March 11, 2009, 1:30-2:30pm
FLINT HILLS INT'L CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL. May 26 - May 29, 2009, 10:30am or 12:30pm
