Luminaria Society: Planned Giving
The Luminaria Society honors the caring individuals who provide for the Ordway in their estates or through other planned giving options. We invite you to consider joining this important group. Various planned giving opportunities offer philanthropic mechanisms to assure the Ordway’s ongoing ability to produce and host an array of remarkable arts experiences.
A planned gift helps ensure the future of the Ordway. The Luminaria Society is an important contributor to the Ordway’s future, our artistic programming and our fiscal stability. Your generosity will become a source of lasting joy for future generations of children and lovers of theater, dance and music as they gather at the Ordway.
Here are two examples of planned gifts:
- Bequests: This is a way to think about long-term estate tax savings by including the Ordway in your will. It is important to engage in advance planning with your attorney, tax professional or other financial advisors to see what will work best for you and your heirs.
- Life Income Gifts: There are various instruments and types of planned gifts through which a donor can structure a gift so that it provides certain income to you or your loved one and supports the Ordway at a later date. This allows the donor to make a “deferred gift,” receive a tax deduction and receive income from the gift for life or over a certain period of time.
For more information on planned giving or to discuss how you can support the Ordway, please contact Peggie Van Wychen, Director of Development at 651-282-3002 or pvanwychen@ordway.org.
We hope you will consider becoming a member of the Ordway’s Luminaria Society by making a charitable bequest through your will or through other planned giving options. Your commitment will sustain the Ordway.
