Legends and Lies

In Legends & Lies, Cantus and the Bach Society of Minnesota tell the story of the mischievous Till Eulenspiegel as he crosses a battle-weary Europe during the 30 Years’ War, rubbing shoulders with the ragged, the regimental, and the royal along the way. Both ensembles will perform separately and together on this program, highlighting the versatility of chamber music through repertoire spanning five centuries, from Monteverdi to contemporary composer Michael McGlynn.
