The Main Ingredients of Waitress
Jenna, the main character in the Sara Bareilles musical Waitress, bakes pies for the diner where she works. Dreaming of a fresh start, she enters a pie-baking contest and writes her own personal recipe for happiness. To celebrate this hit Broadway musical, which will be part of Broadway at the Ordway next season, we’re hosting a special pre-Valentine’s Day Meet the Artists event. Tune in online for a conversation with the stars of Waitress, watch a special music video sneak peek from the show, and learn the winners of our Valentine’s Day pie contest (more at the link below). Submit a pie recipe that's close to your heart for a chance at one of three sweet prizes!
Special appearance by Ruthanne Heyward, seen in Live at the Loading Dock: Ordway Cabaret, as co-host.
This conversation will last approximately 60 minutes, followed by a 20-minute audience Q&A session. Audience questions may be submitted throughout the program. The event will stream live, and viewing is free, but capacity is limited—reserve your spot now!
