At FAB, you can make or try an instrument, learn new dance moves, or try your hand at costume and sound design. And every 20 minutes, a new show or concert will start inside the two performance spaces.

Snacks are free, plus purchasable drinks and coffee for adults!

Printed materials will be available in English, Spanish, Hmong, Somali, and Karen languages. All performances will include American Sign Language interpretation, Audio Description, and Open Captioning. Select activities will include roaming ASL and AD. Earplugs are available upon request. Changing tables and a mothering room are located in the Break Room on the Concert Hall Lower Level.

Just Dance

Dancing Together with TU Dance: Join instructors from contemporary dance company TU Dance in child and parent/caregiver creative movement experiences that engage the senses of curiosity and play! Little ones and their grown-ups can explore the connection between music and dance, as well as the connection between one another.

Hip Hop with House of Dance: House of Dance Twin Cities is Minnesota’s first and only creative space dedicated solely to teaching Hip Hop/Urban dance to youth and people of all-ages and experience levels. Learn some fun and foundational Hip Hop dance moves in these interactive sessions!

One Dog Sleigh by The Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies
Music Theater

Presented by The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra

A sleigh? In April? It might be spring, but sometimes in Minnesota, it snows in April! This performance is brimming with Minnesota-based talent. The delightful book, One Dog Sleigh by Mary Casanova, will be narrated, projected on a large screen, and accompanied by a full orchestra of Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies middle and high school students. The orchestra will perform an original composition by composer Sarah Miller who wrote the piece specifically for this book. Come along for a springtime sleigh ride!

Experience traditional African drumming and dance heritage with Titambe West African Dance Ensemble! Composed of artists originating from all over the world, including Ghana, Liberia, Kenya, Trinidad, and America, this Titambe performance is a celebration of diversity and unity. This unforgettable musical experience is sure to immerse the audience in the rich cultures and rhythm of Africa.

Adam Harris and the Minnesota Percussion Trio as they work together to take you on a toe-tapping, finger-snapping, percussive adventure that you get to help create!
