The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts is deeply invested in maintaining the safety of our guests, artists, and staff. The following protocols have been put in place for your safety. If you have any questions about the below, please contact Ordway Director of Guest Services Tammie Weinfurtner at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Self-screening and contact tracing
You will be sent a one-minute symptom screening one day before the event. Please review this screening before you leave home. If you are symptomatic, have a symptomatic individual in your household, or have been exposed to a known or suspected case of COVID-19, please stay safe at home.
The contact information you have submitted in your reservation will be used for contact tracing in the event of a case of COVID-19.
Personal protective equipment
To protect yourself and others, and in accordance with municipality guidelines, everyone is required to wear a face covering which fully covers the nose and mouth. Face coverings may be removed only when seated in your assigned seats if needed for consuming food and beverage. If you do not have a face covering upon arrival, a face covering will be provided to you at check-in.
Guests are encouraged to wash their hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water frequently, but especially prior to consuming food or beverage, and after using the restroom, sneezing, touching their face, blowing their nose or coughing into a tissue, eating, or drinking.
Ordway staff and artist COVID-19 protocols
All Ordway artists and staff are required to comply with our COVID-19 Preparedness Plan, including daily health screenings, proper use of face coverings, frequent handwashing or sanitization, social distancing, practicing proper respiratory etiquette, and frequent cleaning and sanitizing of our work facilities. Employees of the Ordway do not attend work unless they are symptom free, and accommodations are in place for all employees should they need to stay home.
