For Students & Teachers

Ordway Education is so excited to announce the launch of Ordway Education: Online, a place for educators, community, and students to learn about all things performing arts.

Find us on Youtube and the Ordway Education Blog. #OrdwaySchooled

Open the door to the performing arts for your students through the Ordway’s weekday school performances.

We couldn’t be more excited to share these exceptional performances from around the world with young audiences.  If you have come before, we have something new for you to experience! If you haven’t yet been, try it out and see why the Ordway is the leading field trip destination in the region.

Our staff is ready to connect you with all of the resources that you need to make the most of your experience. We continue to be one of the most affordable field trip venues in the region with ticket prices starting at $4, a new Access Ticket Fund, and bus reimbursement for all schools.

To purchase tickets by phone, call the Education Hotline at 651.282.3115 starting May 22, 2020. For questions about ticket policies, check out our FAQ page.

The Ordway remains committed to the health and safety of our students, artists, and staff.

As you are likely aware, the Governor recommended the cancellation of events of 250 attendees or more. The safety of our students, teachers and Ordway staff is top of mind as we make the difficult decision to postpone or cancel performances held at the Ordway over the next few weeks.

As a part of the community-wide effort to slow the transmission of the virus, our student matinee performances of The Color Purple, scheduled for April 1, Noche Flamenca's Antigona, scheduled for May 5 & 6, and our Flint Hills Family Festival scheduled for May 26-29 have been cancelled. The performances of Danu, scheduled for March 19 & 20, 2020 have been rescheduled to February 25 & 26, 2021.

Given the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we are preemptively preparing for any possible impact the virus may have on the Ordway community. We are continually monitoring updates from health organizations, local and state government, and the broader performing arts community.

If you have any questions, please call the Education Hotline at 651.282.3115.
