Nobuntu, the all-female a cappella quintet from Zimbabwe, has drawn international acclaim for inventive performances that range from traditional Zimbabwean songs to Afro-jazz to gospel. Nobuntu was nominated for Best Musician of the Year at the Zimbabwe International Women Awards in London in 2015, and has performed at festivals and concert halls throughout the world.

Join us one hour before the show in a panel discussion and demonstration with artists from Voice of Culture, a collective of Black artists dedicated to the study of African diasporic arts and culture led by Artistic Director Ms. Kenna Cottman during this 30-minute pre-show event curated and facilitated by Ms. Leah Nelson, a Zimbabwean dancer, choreographer, actor, producer and director with a passion for organizing for social change through the arts.
