St. Olaf College presents The St. Olaf Choir in Concert
The St. Olaf Choir presents the tour program it will share with audiences in the great concert halls of Japan and the Republic of Korea in June.
The choir, with 75 mixed voices, has set the standard of a cappella choral excellence and remained at the forefront of choral artistry since its founding in 1912. For over a century, the choir has provided music of the highest quality, lifting people’s hearts and spirits and incorporating a diversity of voices and cultural traditions into the chorus of the Christian faith.
Conducted since 1990 by Anton Armstrong, the St. Olaf Choir continues to develop the tradition that originated with its founder, F. Melius Christiansen. The ensemble’s annual tour brings its artistry and message to thousands of people across the nation and around the world.
