BLACKOUT Improv: Lift Up Your Voice

BLACKOUT Improv is an all Black, Minnesota based improv team that that addresses social justice through comedy and humor. Performers come from a variety of different backgrounds but all share the experiences of being othered, feeling different, or like they didn't really fit in. Performing helped find confidence in theiy identities and help bring voice to what they have to say. During “Lift Up Your Voice,” they will use improv to help teach skills to help students speak their minds, step forward when things are scary, and be the best of themselves.
