The Way Back Home

Children's Festival, Lab Theater

Approximate Run-time: 40 min

Age Recommendation: Ages 4-8

When a boy discovers a single-propeller airplane in his closet, he does what any young adventurer would do: he flies into outer space! Millions of miles from Earth, the plane begins to sputter and quake. The fuel tank is empty and the boy must execute a daring landing on the moon. But as it turns out, he is not alone up there… The Way Back Home uses puppets to tell a simple yet profound tale about friendship and conquering the fear of the unknown.

The Way Back Home is presented by Teater Refleksion (DK) and Branar Téatar (IE), produced in association with Baboró International Arts Festival for Children, and based on a book by Oliver Jeffers published by Harper Collins Publishers.
