Ordway Terms & Conditions
Details on our agreement when you make a purchase with the Ordway
Please read the following terms and conditions prior to making a purchase from the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts (“Ordway”). By purchasing ticket(s) (“Ticket(s)”), you agree, on your own behalf and on behalf of any other accompanying party (collectively, the “Ticketholder(s)”), to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, do not complete a purchase of Tickets.
The Ordway reserves the right to vary, amend and/or make any changes to these terms and conditions without any prior notice, and any updates will take effect from the date they are placed on the Ordway’s website.
Tickets
A Ticket is a revocable license and may be terminated in the Ordway’s sole discretion by tendering the purchase price to the Ticketholder. The Ordway will not refund a ticket purchased via a third party. No compensation will be provided for complimentary tickets.
The Ordway reserves the right, without the refund of any portion of the purchase price, to revoke the license granted by a Ticket and refuse admission to a Ticketholder, for any reason, including but not limited to conduct deemed improper by the Ordway.
All Tickets sold are strictly non-transferable. Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale at any price. The Ordway reserves the right, without providing any refunds, to cancel any Tickets or refuse the entry of the holder(s) of Tickets that have been resold or offered for resale.
Tickets may not be used for advertising, promotions (contests, sweepstakes, giveaways) or other commercial or trade purposes without the express prior written consent of the Ordway.
The Ordway is unable to accommodate sales outside of the United States and Canada.
All Tickets are subject to availability. Please notify the Ordway of any access requirements at time of booking
All Tickets are subject to a facility fee and service charge per Ticket.
Ordway only accepts responsibility for Tickets purchased from its own managed sales points. Any questions regarding Tickets purchased from a third party need to be directed to such third party.
Ordway reserves the right to provide alternate seats at an event to those specified on the Ticket if warranted by the staging of the event, or if there is an issue with the specified seat that would compromise the safety of its use.
Tickets issued by Ordway may not be altered or edited by unauthorized sources. Possession of a Ticket does not confer rights to the buyer or recipient to alter, copy, edit or otherwise deal with logos, trademarks or intellectual property appearing on the Ticket.
Robot, spider, or other automated device or ticket buying software is not permitted in the purchase of Tickets from the Ordway. The Ordway reserves the right to cancel any Ticket transaction reasonably suspected to have been made using such technology without notice to the Ticketholder.
Ordway may implement Ticket purchase limits for events and reserves the right to cancel any sales that are reasonably suspected to surpass set Ticket purchase limits without notice to the Ticketholders.
Ordway reserves the right to deactivate accounts that are reasonably suspected to not adhere to these terms and conditions.
Ticket delivery
Ticket delivery may be delayed after purchase and, in such case, Tickets shall be delivered within 48 hours of the performance start date and time.
Starting August 1, 2024, electronic tickets will be delivered solely through the Ordway App. All customers using digital (electronic) Tickets will need to download the Ordway App, available in the iOS and Android app stores. An Ordway account with username and password is required. Screen shots and/or printed tickets will not be valid or accepted.
Box Office or Pick Up Upon Arrival Tickets are only available at the venue starting 60 minutes prior to show start on the date of the event. Ticketholder should be prepared to present a photo ID to retrieve the Ticket(s).
Event changes
Events at the Ordway may be subject to change from the published program when reasonably necessary.
Cast updates and the use of understudies may occur and no refunds or compensation will be provided.
Time adjustments may be made to accommodate the needs of the production.
Cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled events
Ticketholders will be notified using the details provided to the Ordway at the time of sale. It is the Ticketholder’s responsibility to inform the Ordway of any changes to their contact information.
If the event for which Ticketholder purchased a Ticket(s) is cancelled, Ticketholder will be entitled to an Ordway account credit, Ordway gift certificate, or refund of the paid value of the Ticket. Refunds will be made to the original credit card used for purchase. If the card is no longer in service or is unable to accept a refund, then a check will be issued. If the original form of payment was cash, a check refund will be issued. Cash refunds are not permitted. No compensation will be provided for complimentary tickets.
If the event for which Ticketholder purchased a Ticket(s) has been postponed or rescheduled, Ticketholder will keep such Ticket(s) and the Ticket(s) will be transferred to the new date.
If Ticketholder is unable to attend the rescheduled event date, Ticketholder will be entitled to an Ordway account credit, Ordway gift certificate, or refund of the paid value of the Ticket(s). Refunds will be made to the original credit card used for purchase. If the card is no longer in service or is unable to accept a refund, then a check will be issued. If the original form of payment was cash, a check refund will be issued. Cash refunds are not permitted. No compensation will be provided for complimentary tickets.
Returns and exchanges
All Ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be made expect as provided herein. It is your responsibility to check the Ticket(s) at the time of purchase, as mistakes cannot always be fixed after purchase. Please check the Ticket(s) and contact the Ordway immediately if there is a mistake.
There is no compensation for missed shows. Tickets cannot be exchanged after the performance date and time printed on the Ticket.
Single Ticket exchanges may be possible for Broadway @ the Ordway events.
Exchanges between events and/or productions is not permitted.
Exchanges of single Ticket purchases may be made by the original Ticketholder only and must be requested 48 hours prior to the event date and time. Group Ticket exchanges are not permitted.
There is a $5 per Ticket exchange fee. Subscribers of Ordway subscriptions may exchange with no fee.
Any increase in Ticket price from the original Ticket purchase must be paid by Ticketholder.
Refunds, credits, or alternate compensation will not be provided for a lesser priced Ticket.
Complimentary Tickets may not be exchanged.
Tickets purchased from an unauthorized source or third party will not be exchanged. Individuals will need to contact the point of purchase agent in such instances and such sales are subject to the third party’s policies.
Exchanges are not available for one-night events.
Missed events
There are no refunds or compensation for a missed event.
Tickets for missed events cannot be exchanged.
Subject to availability, Ticketholder who missed their event may be able to purchase Tickets to a new date of the same event and/or production at a reduced price. This does not apply for one-night events or productions.
Misplaced and duplicate tickets
Tickets, if lost, may be replaced with Duplicate Tickets at the sole discretion of the Ordway. Contact the Ordway Ticket Office by phone, 651.224.4222, or by email, weborders@ordway.org.
Duplicate Tickets may not be able to be issued if the original Tickets were not purchased by the requesting party at one of the Ordway’s managed sale points, or if creating a duplicate Ticket could compromise the capacity of the venue.
Gift certificates
Ordway gift certificates are only valid for purchasing Tickets to Broadway @ the Ordway and Ordway Presents events and/or productions.
Gift Certificates may not be used or redeemed at any Ordway bar or concession stand.
Gift certificates or partially used gift certificates are not refundable and may not be redeemed for cash.
Child tickets
Every person, regardless of age, must have a Ticket to attend an event.
Children aged 6 and over are welcome to enjoy most events and productions at the Ordway.
There are no child prices unless otherwise specified in the event details.
It is the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian of a child to determine if the content is appropriate for the child. Refunds or compensation will not be provided if a show is perceived to not be appropriate after a Ticket purchase has been made.
The Flint Hills Family Festival is geared towards children of all ages.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TICKETHOLDER, ON BEHALF OF TICKETHOLDER, MINORS, ANY ACCOMPANYING PARTY AND THEIR PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES, ASSIGNS, HEIRS, NEXT OF KIN AND ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY THAT MAY BE ENTITLED TO MAKE A CLAIM ON THEIR BEHALF, AGREES TO WAIVE, RELEASE, DISCHARGE, HOLD HARMLESS AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE THE ORDWAY, OR ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, OR VOLUNTEERS, WITH REPSECT TO ANY CLAIM, LIABILITY OR DEMAND OF WHATEVER KIND OR NATURE, EITHER IN LAW OR IN EQUITY, THAT MAY ARISE IN CONNECTION WITH, OR RELATED IN ANY WAY TO, (A) THE PURCHASE OF TICKETS, (B) ATTENDANCE AT AN EVENT OR THE VENUE, OR (C) PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT OR ANY RELATED ACTIVITIES ARRANGED, PROMOTED AND/OR SPONSORED BY THE ORDWAY.
COVID-19 acknowledgment
By purchasing a Ticket for an event, you are acknowledging the inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present, and that you and those in your party voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold the Ordway or its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury.
COVID-19 policy
As a result of COVID-19, the status of your event is subject to change. If your event is cancelled or if your Tickets need to be cancelled to comply with updated government requirements, Ticketholder will receive a notification of cancellation as soon as possible and be offered an exchange, account credit or a full refund for Ticketholder’s purchase.
Masks and proof of vaccination are not required to attend events at this time. The Ordway will continue to follow the latest public safety guidelines. Ticketholders will be notified if any changes take place.
