Sounds of Blackness: Music for Martin

First staged at the Ordway in the 90’s, Music for Martin is a multimedia musical performance honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life, and the people keeping his legacy alive today.  The show centers social justice, empowerment and reparations through music, highlighting the Grammy-winning Sounds of Blackness' 50+ year history in the Twin Cities.  Just a few days before Martin Luther King Jr Day, spark a conversation on Race, and plant the seeds of change.
