Come From Away back at the Ordway next spring

Saint Paul, Minnesota (August 19, 2024) Back by popular demand! The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts announced today the return of the critically acclaimed musical, Come From Away, from March 5–8, 2025. The production will grace the Ordway’s stage once again following a highly success run in June 2024.

Broadway’s Come From Away takes audiences into the heart of the remarkable true story of 7,000 stranded passengers after the 9/11 attacks and a small town in Newfoundland, Canada, that welcomed them. Cultures clashed and nerves ran high, but uneasiness turned into trust, music soared into the night and gratitude grew into enduring friendships. This breathtaking musical is written by Tony Award® nominees Irene Sankoff and David Hein and helmed by Tony Award®-winning best director, Christopher Ashley.

“The decision to bring Come From Away back to the Ordway was informed by numerous requests and the community’s overwhelming enthusiasm for the show this past summer,” says Chris Harrington, President and CEO of the Ordway. “We are delighted to provide audiences another opportunity to experience this powerful and touching story that reminds us of our shared humanity.”

Tickets for Come From Away are available now at Ordway.org or by contacting the ticket office at 651.224.4222.
