Saint Paul, Minnesota (October 2, 2025) — The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts will present Classic Albums Live: The Rolling Stones’ Sticky Fingers on October 11. Founded in 2003 by Craig Martin, Classic Albums Live takes the greatest albums and recreates them live on stage—note for note, cut for cut, using the best musicians.
“Classic Albums Live has performed more than 20 different albums at the Ordway over the years. Audiences love them because of their incredible talent and attention to detail as they recreate an entire album start to finish,” said Tanya Gertz, vice president of programming and community impact at the Ordway.
The Stones' Sticky Fingers album opens with "Brown Sugar" and closes with "Moonlight Mile"—hailed as one of the greatest album closers of all time. It takes a big band to get Sticky Fingers right: strings, horns, keys and three guitarists. The acoustic work takes five different guitars. Classic Albums Live will pay this complex, iconic album the ultimate tribune by recreating it live in concert.
The concert will be presented at the Ordway’s Concert Hall, a 1,100-seat venue that was recently upgraded with a new sound system. Classic Albums Live will also return to the Ordway in the spring to pay tribute to The Eagles’ greatest hits, March 21, 2026.
Classic Albums Live: The Rolling Stones’ Sticky Fingers at the Ordway is presented by Loffler Companies.
