Saint Paul, Minnesota (June 21, 2020) – The Board of Directors for the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts today announced President and CEO Jamie Grant will be departing to take on the role of President and CEO of McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert, California, a premier performing arts center in the Coachella Valley.

Grant was named to his position at the Ordway in 2016. During his tenure, Grant increased the focus on Ordway Original theatrical programming, greatly expanded concert programming, expanded and strengthened relationships with the Arts Partnership, made multiple executive hires, and helped the organization weather the COVID-19 crisis.

“We are immensely grateful to Jamie for his service to the Ordway and the arts community in Minnesota. His work to strengthen relationships with the members of the Arts Partnership and increase the scope and scale of Ordway programming will have lasting benefit to this organization and the city of Saint Paul,” noted Bill Parker, Ordway Board Chair.

The Ordway Board of Directors will conduct a national search for Grant’s replacement. Christine Sagstetter, Ordway EVP, and CFO for 27 years, will serve as Interim President, with Grant assisting with transition through August 31.
