Saint Paul, Minnesota (June 5, 2023) — The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts is pleased to announce tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m. r the all-new production of the timeless Tony Award®-winning Broadway classic, Peter Pan. The musical is scheduled on the Music Theater stage Dec. 6-31, 2023. Part of Broadway @ the Ordway series, the national tour will premiere in downtown Saint Paul before making stops in 40 other cities across the country.
This high-flying musical has been delighting audiences of all ages for close to 70 years and is now being brought back to life in a new production directed by Emmy Award winner Lonny Price (S_unset Boulevard, Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill_) with additional book by celebrated playwright Larissa FastHorse (The Thanksgiving Play, What Would Crazy Horse Do?).
Based on Sir James M. Barrie's classic tale and originally directed, choreographed and adapted by Broadway legend Jerome Robbins, Peter Pan features an iconic and unforgettable score by Morris (Moose) Charlap, lyrics by Carolyn Leigh, additional lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, and additional music by Jule Styne.
