The Ordway is committed to addressing barriers to participation that can restrict access to the performing arts for schoolchildren, adults, and organizations.

What to Wear
Some people enjoy dressing up for a night out at the Ordway. Others feel more comfortable in a nice pair of jeans. Feel free to make the clothing choice that will let you enjoy the performance to the fullest.
Cameras, Recording Equipment, Mobile Phones, Pagers
Please have all mobile devices and pagers turned to the silent mode. Cameras and recording equipment are strictly prohibited in the theater. Please check these items with an usher.
Please don’t text, tweet, post, snap, or “gram” during the performance. But by all means, tell the world how awesome it was afterward!
In the interest of all patrons and performers; latecomers, patrons who leave the auditorium during a performance, and late returnees at intermission will be seated according to the wishes of the artists and at the discretion of the management.
Smoking is not allowed inside the Ordway. Please observe posted signage outdoors as well.
Children over the age of six are welcome at most Ordway performances. Some performances are appropriate for younger children, while others are not recommended for children. Please call the Ticket Office at 651.224.4222 for age recommendations.
Pro Tip: Pre-order intermission drinks and snacks
This veteran maneuver will let you avoid the line, save time, and definitely impress your date. Pre-order drinks & snacks from any lobby bar, and then pick them up during intermission. Yes, drinks are allowed in the Music Theater and Concert Hall.
